Masha Allaah! Great ...Alaikum salaam sis Umm Adam,

Masha Allaah! Great to know they are doing well with pencil. Oh its the same here sis. Maimoonah is getting a bit bored here too. She was so enthusiastic as we started tracing but now it has dropped a bit. So I guess we need to leave it and carry on with other things and worksheets are indeed a great motivator I guess.

May be we should find some other interesting innovative ways and means for writing and tracing Insha Allaah. If you do come across please let me know Insha Allaah!Umm Maimoonahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02862884358504802990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1092922087217340529.post-71539034728449069822011-03-14T19:46:11.903+03:002011-03-14T19:46:11.903+03:00Assalaamu alaikum,
Jazak Allah khair for your rep...Assalaamu alaikum,

Jazak Allah khair for your reply. They are 4 and 2,5 But actually they both write/control pencil well so when we started the curriculum I imagined they would really like tracing, especially the older one, but he gets bored with it so quickly.. As you say, forcing is not an option of course. They also likes worksheets so I guess we just pause the tracing for a while and try again later insha Allah.Monika https://www.blogger.com/profile/07421740028712388402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1092922087217340529.post-46518917113413689602011-03-14T19:11:16.125+03:002011-03-14T19:11:16.125+03:00Alaikum salaam sis Umm Adam,
Wa Iyaaki and jazzak...Alaikum salaam sis Umm Adam,

Wa Iyaaki and jazzakillaah Khayr for the kind comments.

How old are your toddlers? If they are less that 4 please do not make them trace if they are not interested. Even if they are 5 I think its best to leave it if they do not show interest. Rather concentrate on things they like to do. Tracing and writing need control of pencil and this takes time for kids to master and you should never force. Each child is different. I feel Maimoonah is backward in writing as I know some kids write very well at her age. But I do not want to force on her. I let her take her time. Instead she likes to find answers for problems. example she likes to count and write or trace the correct number. So I let her do those worksheets. So please identify what your kids like and cater according to that.

I am telling you sis if they are less that 5 please do not bother too much. Just do lots of talking and play and crafts Insha Allaah. They will learn alot.

Hope this helps Insha Allaah!Umm Maimoonahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02862884358504802990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1092922087217340529.post-21863086471185816612011-03-14T18:57:43.325+03:002011-03-14T18:57:43.325+03:00Assalaamu alaikum,

I have been following your blog for some time now and Im very impressed and inspired by you and your daughter, tabaraka Allah wa jazak Allah khairan.
I want to ask you, because I have a bit trouble motivating my two toddlers for the tracing part of the curriculum these days.. Should I try getting back to it later or do you have a good motivation/variation suggestion sister?

Wasalaam, Umm AdamMonika https://www.blogger.com/profile/07421740028712388402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1092922087217340529.post-13147198781478974432011-03-11T15:23:07.179+03:002011-03-11T15:23:07.179+03:00Alaikum salaam sis Umm An Nu'man. But Sarah likes the book just at it is, she can read it over and over again : )
Keep up the good work biiznillah.UmmSarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02416090574374186082noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1092922087217340529.post-33831377986287887492011-03-09T06:52:54.094+03:002011-03-09T06:52:54.094+03:00Assalamu aliakum,

Yes si...Alaikum salaam warahmathullaah ya Akhawaat

Yes sis Umm Suhaylah it is generally for a week, sometimes we take few days extra due to taking few days off during that week according to our moods, lol. Yes I did post a time table, you can view that under the label Time Table. That is just a schedule but not followed to the dot. Well how do I plan the day? actually I plan the week because that is more practical with pre preschoolers. Each day is different. Some days we only do maths. Some days Maimoonah will want to do only the mini work book. Some days only reading. Some days we will be full energetic to do maths, reading and worksheets. Some days we just cannot do anything so we do things on our own. Maimoonah would play and I would do my house work. So this is how things get done in a week and this is less stressful for me too. But I make sure all the activities planned are completed by that week. Masha Allaah great blessing of homeschooling.

Sis Umm Nu'man Jazzakillaah Khayr! I am sure you would like the book "Our Parents". hey I do not see your comment on the Give Away???
