Eyes Shed Tears.............

The eyes are shedding tears and the heart is grieved, and we will not say except what pleases our Lord. May Allaah give our Brother Abu Talha Dawud Burbank and His wife Umm Talha the highest position in Jannaah. Aameen. Indeed from Allaah we come and to Him we return.

Subhanallaah this is indeed a great loss and I am still in a state of Shock, we do not praise anyone beyond Allaah, the Most High.

Please do read about Brother Abu Talha here as our brother Abu Khadeejah had said so well masha Allaah!

As far as I know according to a dear sister who has been in touch with Umm Talha for a while now, this noble sister raheemahallaah has been home educating 5 of her 8 kids Alhamdulillaah! And one of their sons have been chosen to the Madeenah University this year. And all of the kids have taken this great shocking news very well Alhamdulillaah and according to many all these kids are well mannered and brought up upon the sunnah. What a great Tarrbiyah subhanallaah!

I quote brother Abu Khadeejah here and I truly love his dua and I make the same dua for these two noble souls Insha Allaah

"Both Abu Talhah and Umm Talhah were in a state of Ihraam, calling out the talbiyah wherein the Tawheed of Allaah, the sole right He has of worship is called out with an audible voice. The Messenger of Allaah (salallaahu 'alaihi wassallam) stated on an occasion when a Companion died in a state of Ihraam:

"Wash him with water and sidr (lotus), and shroud him in two garments. Do not embalm or perfume him, and do not cover his head or face. He will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment making the Talbiyah."
[Bukhaaree and Muslim]

The bus they were on caught fire, and both of them were killed in the fire. Allaah's Messenger (salallaahu 'alaihi wassallam) stated:

"Death from burning is a Shahaadah (martyrdom)…"
[Declared hasan by Shaikh al-Albaanee in Ahkaamul-Janaa'iz, p.55]

O Allaah! Forgive Abu Talhah and forgive Umm Talhah, elevate their position amongst the guided ones, and raise good successors for them from their offspring. Forgive us and them, O Lord of the worlds, expand and illuminate their graves, for them both. Allaahumma Ameen! http://www.salafitalk.com/threads/657-Abu-Talhah-Dawud-Burbank-and-his-Wife-have-Died?p=1178#post1178

Brother Aboo Talha's  raheemaullaah works could be found on this website http://ittibaa.com/ and my dear Akhawaat all his lectures are so wonderful and please do listen to them and take benefit, Insha Allaah! Also His Raheemahullaah's son has a blog with beautiful work of brother Abu Talha here, masha Allaah.

The Janazah prayers were held for both of them today after Fajr at the Haram (Makkah) and they were buried in Makkaah, Alhamdulillaah!

Alaikum salaam dear sis Umm Mouad,
Aameen! So comforting to know that they have raised such wonderful children who are firm upon the sunnah even during these difficult times, indeed this is a great reminder for us that our children are sadaqahthul jaariyah if we make effort and give them the correct Tarbiyyaah. Death is indeed the destroyer of all pleasures!

I myself was in shock too maashaa Allah. I had to re-read the email a few times, just to be sure I was reading correctly. May Allah subhanhu wa ta'ala give our noble brother and his wife (rahima-humallaah)ease durring the questioning, make their graves spacious, and grant them jennah, Allahuma Aameen!
It is such a beautiful thing to hear how strong the children are, May Allah ta'ala continue to give them strength and keep their feet firm upon this deen, Aameen.

It just so happens I cam to your site seeking Islaamic studies material for children and then, by the Decree of Allaah and all praise is due to Him, I found this post about Aboo Talhah who I was unaware of had a website that displayed his translations. So once again Baarak Allaahu Feeki for posting the links.

And may Allaah continue to increase you in the Khayr and reward you for all the beneficial and helpful info you post here on your site. Aameen.
