Everyday Arabic Book 7 - Spices

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم This is the review of Book 7 in the Everyday Arabic Series by Taalib Al-Ilm Educational Resources . This simple sentence book has images of common spices along with their English & Arabic names, and the colors of the different spices in both languages in color coded sentences. The first page has the chart with all words used in the book. The book has the names of some spices such as dill, mustard, mint, fennel, white pepper, cloves and cardamom etc. Additionally it gives information of the colours and types of spices as to whether it is whole, crushed, ground or flakes. Isn't it so wonderful to learn all of this in Arabic? I like the idea of introducing spices for the kids as this can lead to lot of discussions and findings. We as Asians use a lot of spices in our food and each of my family member like my mom, mother in law and different aunties are well known for cooking food with their favourite different spices. T...

Free Download - Let's Learn about Allaah Workbooks - Aqeedah Lessons for Children

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Who remembers Uncle Moosaa gently asking little Zainab not to spin on her chair and saying, “Zainab, does Allah know that you are spinning around on your chair?” And all those beautiful sittings Uncle Moosa had with the little girls. Teaching us adults at the same time, howing us how to handle little children, how to teach excellent manners, how to encourage them, distract them when needed, keep them enthusiastic, and most importantly, how to teach Aqeedah in such a fun and creative way. Maimoonah was only three years old at that time. We used to listen to those Aqeedah lessons together, and she learnt so much, alhamdulillah. That was 15 years ago. Later, when Ramlah was three or four, we listened to the lessons again. She loved them too. I really wanted her to engage deeply with these lessons because they were simple, interactive, and excellent for developing listening skills. But Ramlah was more of a touch-and-feel, kinaesthetic learne...

Nurture Islaam Pre Kinder Pack - A Unique Curriculum Pack

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم If you have been a reader/follower of my blog for the past 10 years, you will remember our very first Preschool Pack that I did with my first daughter Maimoonah and then shared with many of you. Many homeschooling families did that "Islaam is my Life Preschool Curriculum" along with Maimoonah and we really enjoyed every bit of it. I remember the amount of time, energy and the frustration I went through at that time looking for resources to supplement this curriculum that is aligned with the Islaamic morals and values. And after 10 years many of those resources that were online are no more and of course, over the 10 years, things have changed so much. Fast forward. 10 years now, by the mercy of Allaah we are pleased to introduce the "one of its kind", Nurture Islaam Pre Kinder Curriculum Pack (Digital) which is suitable for ages 3 - 5. Alhamdulillaah, Nurture Islaam Pre Kinder Digital Curriculum Pack is really one ...
