Assalamu alaikum
MashaAllah you do lots of handwriting. Are you guys doing follow up activities with seerah stories?
I really want to do some activity after we read these stories but I am not very good with coming up with new ideas :(
Is Maimoonah trying to write words in Arabic? Ir remember you mentioning of her wanting to write whole words. Maybe you can make a small.voculary book and she can draw a picture and try writing the word in Arabic and in English. We did this with English words while doing Prophets series. You can just make different shaped small books with used papers.
Bismillaah
As Salaamu Alaikum
Maimoonah is doing nice work Mashaa'Allaah. Did you make your own worksheets this time too?
Do you mind sharing one day soon how you make worksheets?
Baraka'Allaahu'Feekum for the summaries and please tell little Maimoonah she is doing well Mashaa'Allaah I always speak of her to my family about the work she does :)
Alaikum salaam warahmathullaah Ya akhawaat,
Umm Sara, Maimoonah loves to write now and enjoys. There are things that she does not want to write at times too. so it depends. If she refuses I do not force. But eventually she likes to finish it.
As for seerah, I am also cracking my brain how I could do some more interesting follow up activities, actually am in the verge of asking sis Umm An Numan to help me with this. So far she enjoys the note booking which am doing actually like a training for her for the future and she loves reading what I have written as and when she wants. And this makes her keep in mind the story so far Alhamdulillaah! I was thinking of doing a small quiz on the seerah, it would be nice if she had a partner, lets see. I remember I used to learn well by participating in quizzes that they used to have in school at that time and eventually that made me go through the all the volumes of Saheeh Al Bukhaari Alhamdulillaah, I learnt a lot! : ) She writes letters in Arabic but does not attempt joining and writing words. I must try this out. Insha Allaah may be she would be interested.Jazzakillaah Khayr for sharing this.
Umm Suhailah, the Prophet's worksheet that I used this week was available to download free from the salafipublication site I think. Yes sure Insha Allaah will share with you, just let me know what specifically you want to know? Jazzakillaah Khayr for your kind words, she is blushing lol!
