Ana Wa Akhee - Together we Read!

This time we read Ana Wa Akhee masha Allaah Maimoonah always loved Saeed and Waleed. And sis Umm Nu'man really made it all easy with her cute activities!

So after reading the book I gave her the story sequence cards and asked her to put in order.

Then we learnt about time. This is the first instance that I officailly taught Maimoonah how to tell the time. Masha Allaah am glad I had these cards to teach her and masha Allaah I had to only explain to her once and she was done. Now she can tell all the " o' clocks" masha Allaah. I put all the time cards in to a basket and I asked her to pick the correct card and lay them out.

She is a bit confused with the Arabic time cards (meaning the Arabic Terms). But Masha Allaah I think with time she will catch it. So to make it easy for her. I asked her to pick any Arabic time card and together we told the time in Arabic and kept the cards in order. Jazzakillaah Khayr sis Umm Nu'man I learnt to tell all the "Tamaamun" in Arabic now. Before this I had no idea how tell in Arabic!! smile!

We also had this little book on time and we read this book and revised the time too!

She did this worksheet circling the picture that does not belong!

Then I pasted the popsicle sticks and Maimoonah did all the pasting and here is her comb and the toothbrush. Masha Allaah she has become a little expert in pasting precisely !

Finally she said Saeed and Waleed forgot to pray Fajr early in the morning Ummi so we make a prayer mat for them, lol! Masha Allaah she made this prayer rug (she took a piece of paper folded and glued it and took the scissors and cut the edges, she had seen me doing this sometime back when I did this with remaining papers) and the rest of the day she was playing with it saying her imaginary brother Talha was praying next to her in this little prayer rug she made for him! I thought this was so sweet of her masha Allaah and she made it all by herself!
