Prophets Sent by Allaah - Puzzle time!

As you all know I purchased few Learning Roots products recently. Giant Journey Floor puzzle is one of them. This is indeed a very beneficial neat item. We used this for the introduction study of "The Prophets Sent by Allaah". We revised all the names of the Prophets in English and Arabic. And spoke about all of them.

Illustration is beautiful, colourful and attractive. With each Prophet's name there is a relevant picture. This helps kids to remember the story of that particular Prophet. Also you have the names of the Prophets in both Arabic and English as puzzle pieces. Insha Allaah this is great for reading in Maimoonah's case. I hope to mix them and ask her to put the names correctly after she learns to read in Arabic and English the names of the Prophets Insha Allaah.

Puzzle pieces are big and easy to handle with little hands and it is also thick masha Allaah. Maimoonah loves puzzles and like all kids her age she is thrilled when she completes. This puzzle has 30 pieces and at the moment takes a little more time for doing it and I like this as she tries and tries until she completes masha Allaah.

Here she is trying to find the pieces.

Here she is almost done!

Completed the puzzle! Masha Allaah!

After completing I asked her to point some of the names of the Prophet. I also asked her why is it that there is a picture of the Ark near Nooh's aliahissalaam name? and similar questions. This makes them think and comprehend. This product is a great hands on materiel to use for our study on "Prophets sent by Allaah". I am sure we can use this for many different things for a long period of time and Insha Allaah we will share as we go on. It is indeed a wonderful Giant Journey!

I hope to do this as and when we finish learning about each Prophet Insha Allaah.

And it comes with a hardy box for better and easy storage masha Allaah! You can check www.learningroots.com for all details and if you are in the Gulf please contact their Saudi Agent and she will send you the items masha Allaah!

Also its very good that the puzzle pieces are big. I find that Susu works fast with them.

She did the puzzle only once today but not intirely by herself. Evn though most of it was her work I helped her out a bit since I was talking about each Prophet. She did not want to try it again cos she had plenty of other things to do today as she is engrossed in the topic this week Allaah gives me Sickness and cure" lol. So may be she will try in next week again. Will let u know how long she would take then. This time the whole thing took about 20 mints cos we were talking too!!

Masha-Allah, Learning Roots have updated the puzzle. We have the "English only" version. I like your idea of matching the names in English and Arabic. Will have to make prophet name cards Insha-Allah.

@ muslimlearninggarden - Yes sis the puzzle says "3rd Edition". so this is the new edition and it has the Arabic masha Allaah! I wonder if they would give you only the Arabic name cards that would fit the puzzle!!!
