Ramadhaan Activity Packs - 2012

Right click on the images of the Ramadhaan Activity Pack above and select save link as for a quick download Inshaa Allaah! Alhamdulillaah all links are working now.

Innalhamdalillaah! Indeed all praise is due to Allaah, we have completed the Ramadhaan Activity Pack 2012 and it is now available for free download here (go right down on this page and you will see the 3 files mentioned above, click on them and you will be able to download all) or alternatively you can click on images above Inshaa Allaah.

This Pack comes in 3 parts

Make sure you download all three.

May Allaah reward all those who helped to put together this pack, immensely with good in this world and good in the hereafter ! Aameen.

I would like to sincerely thank sister Fehmida from www.smartark.com for helping me with the beautiful cute layout, graphics and art and craft activities and the brothers and sisters who helped in numerous other ways. Jazzakumullaah Khayr. We ask Allaah to accept this small effort from us. Aameen.

Please note We do NOT authorise the copying, duplication, reproduction or alteration of this pack, whether print, digital or online, without prior written consent. We strictly do NOT authorise anyone taking print outs and selling for monetory gains. This is only for your personal use. Please do not upload this document to any of your personal sites/blogs or any where else. You are free to pass on the original download links to others for downloading. And we ask all of you to fear Allaah and to abide by this bi idhnillaah. By downloading these documents you agree to abide by the above. Baarakallaah Feekum.

We hope your kids would enjoy the activities and please be kind enough to let us know if you find any mistakes or errors.

Important: Jazzakillaah Khayr for the sister who pointed this out. I have made a mistake. In the Ramadhaan Activity Pack 2, Activity 24, page 18 please delete or cut off the first sentence which talks about gifts for Eid for the kids as this would be like resembling the non muslim festivities and the children who do not get gifts would feel deprived and thus this would lead them to think Eid is not Eid except with gifts.

May Allaah accept your fasts and make you all successful this Ramadhaan and May He shower His Mercy upon you and your families. Aameen.

Alhamdulillaah, this is the first time I have visited your blog, (a friend forwarded the Ramadhaan packets, maashaa'Allaah) and I see many wonderful resources that I hope to refer to when I start schooling my son in the fall. Inshaa'Allaah next year we will use the Ramadhaan activities with him, jazaakumullaahu khayran! I would like to request that for next year if you could also provide an answer sheet or appendix along with the packets and that way parents who might not be knowledgeable on all of the topics will be able to use the activity packets with confidence while learning along with their children inshaa'Allaah! Baarakallaahu feekum and thank you for your consideration!

Dear Sister, kindly disregard my last request ... subhaanallaah I dont know how I looked over the Parents/teachers notes - However when I clicked on it to open it I was directed to this link that came up blank: http://rush52.com/umm/ramadhaan/parentTeacherNotes.pdf

Jazaakillaahu khayran!

Alaikum salaam warahmathullaahi wa barakaatuhu sister Umm Omar,
Jazzakillaah Khayr for the kind words. The Parents Teachers Notes link is working for me sister. Please click on the image parents teachers notes above on this post and the document will open Inshaa Allaah. Jazzakillaah Khayr for your suggestions any way, I think I will have to do the whole answer sheet at least for next year to make it easy for the ones who are using. But for this year Inshaa Allaah, we are putting up the answers written by my daughter on the blog so if someone is having problems can refer back to my blog or email me for assistance bi idhnillaah.

Asakm wrmt sister,

Mashallah i have never seen such brilliant activity on Ramadan May Allah reward you immensely for the hard work you have done and May Allah also give baraka in your time....Ameen.

I am not a home schooling mother but i have always felt a need how to create an environment for our muslim kids so that they just dont get carried away by different other cultures, different religious beliefs that are taught at school and most importantly from western influence n media....

It is all from Allah swt that this idea and courage to start islamic classes for kids from 4yrs till 10 on weekends came in mind its been 6months now.... sadly the kind of syllabus what i am looking for is not available in one book nor i ahve not found any such good books to follow for different age group as i am also new to this though i have been doing taleem al qur'an course from Al Huda and teach Tajweed classes for ladies but doing for kids is different.....If you could guide me in such regard it would be of great help you can also have a look at my page on Facebook named Rowdatunnoor: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Rowdatun-Noor/293453814092088?sk=info

Asalaamu 'alaykum warahmatullah

I hope you are still checking comments on this post, as I looked but I can't see any "contact us" details on the site. InshaAllah you are!

I am so grateful to you, mashaAllah, for these wonderful resources.

I wanted to ask if it is ok for us to print out multiple copies to use with our madrassah children as part of the Ramadan curriculum? We will not alter your work in any way, we will leave your copyright logo on each page and will definitely not sell any of the pages. It is simply to use as part of our syllabus for the children who attend our madrassah in their ramadan and Eid lessons.

Can you please confirm if you are happy for us to utilise your work for this educational purpose?

Thank you so much and jazakAllahu khayran

Wasalam

Sister Takreem, Aameen for your dua and thank you for your kind words. May Allaah give you success with what you are doing. The only complete Islaamic Curriculum that I know of is ICO Books. You can find them here and have a look at it. Its expensive but very comprehensive with authentic information.

Also you can see a review of these books by another homeschooling mom here
http://ummihomeschoolsme.wordpress.com/2010/04/19/review-of-ico-islamic-curriculum/

http://www.educatingmuslims.com/

Inshaa Allaah I am also hoping to start with my daughter next school year Inshaa Allaah.

Sister Umm Aisha, my contact details are on the right side of the blog under Contact Me. Yes and I still do check the comments. Have been busy with some childrens programs and will resume posting after we finish our school year soon Inshaa Allaah.

Yes Inshaa Allaah you can take multiple printouts and use them. Baarakallaah Feekum.

Thank you so so much! JazakAllahu khayran!!

We are so grateful. May you be rewarded abundantly, for every child who learns from every single thing you created here, and for every moment of happiness they experience in response to your work, and also be rewarded every time they pass it on to their children, and they on to their children, until yamw al qiyyama. Allahumma ameen!

May Allah reward you for your efforts dear sis!

Re: your "mistake" i must beg to differ- Eid is not Eid without gifts, especially for kids! Please let's not go overboard with our no doubt well-intentioned effort to avoid "resembling/imitating the kuffaar". the two Eids are OUR days of celebration, if our children cannot expect gifts on this day when can they?? they are children after all and the prophet s.a.w said "tahaadu tahaabu"- exchange gifts so that you may love one another- there is no shame in this. as for those children who may not be receiving gifts on Eid, it is our responsibility as parents to make our children aware that Eid is as much about sharing and caring as it is about celebrating, they can do this by picking something out for a friend, or putting some of their Eid money aside for charity, etc.

Please note I am not "for" turning Eid into a commercialised frenzy like Christmas, a gift in the eyes of a child can be something homemade or even some chocolate, its not about the nature of the gift but rather about making our celebrations special for them.

Sister Umm Eesa,
Jazzakillaak Khayr sister. The reason I had asked to cut off the whole sentence " Eid is a lovely time where children get lots of gifts" is that I was unable to change it and upload it all over again as we were pressed for time and the file sizes were too big and time consuming to do it all over again.
The statement indicates as if Gift is a Must for Eid and Eid is not Eid without gifts which I think is not true as we have no evidence for this from the Qur'aan and the Sunnah and I have not heard such a thing from the Ulama. So making something a "Must" when we have no proof is something dangerous and this was the reason I wanted to indicate the mistake. But of course there is no harm in exchanging gifts during Eid and it is something nice. So really the statement in the Activity Pack should be something like " Eid is an exciting time. Sometimes children are given gifts'. We will try to make the change and put it up when we are able to Inshaa Allaah.

For this, we thank you and ask Allah swt to reward you immensely for the effort and good intention you put into sharing this.

Jazakillahu khairun katheera for this activity pack! This is amazing mashallah although I saw some of the stuff was a lil too much for 5-8yrs old kids. Im not sure what age range is this packet directed towards. I want to use it in my Ramadan camp in the masjid which is a weekly class n parents want their kids to have something good to do at home while the schools are off. Is it ok if i print off some copies n give it to my students? Im not altering your work in any way but I have limited resources so I will only be printing 15-20 pages for each student inshaAllah. Thank you so much. May Allah swt put barakah in your efforts ameen.
