Alhamdulillaah we have been conducting Online Workshops and Courses for the past one and half years now and recently we achieved yet another milestone by the Mercy of Allaah.
A couple of sisters who regularly join me for the online classes went a step further and desired for their communities what they would love for themselves.
It started with a sweet sister initiating to organize the live streaming of the Mums Homeschool Support workshop at the Salafi Centre Manchester Masjid "Baby Club" in the UK. Alhamdulillaah they lived streamed "What to Teach Children Ages 2 - 5" Mums/Teachers Workshop during their Baby Club Sessions over 4 weeks benefitting the sisters and their community.
The response was very fruitful and it was a pleasure to have had the Manchester sisters joining us from the Masjid. My sincere thanks to the Masjid committee and all the sisters who joined me and a special thank you to my dear sister Umm Abdullaah from Manchester for initiating and organizing. May Allaah reward you immensely. Aameen.

This, in turn, inspired another sister and her family at the Masjid Rahmah Community in New Jersey USA. All of her children have been regular students for my online workshops and have enjoyed and benefitted throughout. She initiated to stream the Ramadhaan Heart Softeners Online Workshop for Girls and it was a huge success by the Grace and Mercy of Allaah. We were so amazed and impressed by their set up, neat organization and the wonderful delivery of the workshop via the pre-recording.
I asked the dear sister who organized this event at Hillside, New Jersey, to send us a small write up as to how the event was carried out, in order to other communities to benefit from this as I have got many sisters asking me information and showing interest to do the same in their communities after I posted the Instagram story about this event. And here is her write up.
As salaamu alaykum wa rahmahtullahi wa barakaatu, It was our pleasure to host the tweens and teens in the Masjid Rahmah Community in an Umm Maimoonah's Ramadhaan Heart Softeners Workshop!! Dedicated Brothers and sisters offered du'aa and worked tirelessly in order to facilitate this wonderful endeavor!
First, we contacted Umm Maimoonah to ask her permission to broadcast her Workshop, and to work out payment details. Once she so graciously approved and set up payment arrangements, we sent a memo of our intentions to broadcast the workshop via the Parents' WhatsApp Group. Interested families contacted me privately, and we disseminated pertinent information to them such as the time, date and location of the broadcasting venue.Our intentions were to project the recording of the workshop on the wall. Technical issues raised, and we settled for our computer. Inshaa Allah we will have it working for our next workshop!
In order to establish a warm, welcoming, and exciting learning environment, we decorated the venue with a Heart theme. We printed an Itinerary (with hearts on it of course) so that the girls would know exactly what to expect. We also pre-printed and bound their Ramadhaan Heart Softeners Packet. Little heart stickers on the front page embellished the already eye-catching graphic design. Personalized ink pens and little heart cutouts were a few of the small extras that made the girls feel special.After a brief welcoming, open dialogue of expectations and encouraging reminders, we discussed the importance of maintaining the integrity of Umm Maimoonah's academic property that she licensed to us all.
Our beneficial learning session began when we played the recording if the workshop. We paused periodically in order to ascertain whether the girls understood the information being disseminated. We answered the questions in the workbook which were based on the lecture.
In our 2nd session, we gave a brain break after each 45-minute block. We stopped to pray, of course, then we had a floor puzzle competition.
After completing what we intended to complete the recording, we fed the girls dinner, which was at about 7:30pm EST. We allowed them to converse until they were picked up or if their Umm was present, they left with her before Maghrib.
At the end of the workshop, the girls were given gift bags and a personalized certificate of completion. They were so appreciative and humbled, Allahumma baarik Alayk.
We all had an amazing time, and more importantly, we learned so much. I believe that we all left the workshop with a softened heart; a heart ready to receive the benefits of our blessed month of Ramadhaan, bi ithnillah!! Parents are anxious about the next learning session, and so are we! "

Alhamdulillaah, the intent of this post is not for boasting purpose or to talk about ourselves, rather it was only for the purpose of inspiring and encouraging other communities to take initiatives to benefit their own communities in educating and cultivating the children upon the correct and authentic Islaamic Knowledge and also to share the efforts of the sisters and the communities while spreading the khayr. We ask Allaah to accept our efforts and seek the rewards only from Him. Alhamdulillaah!
